When choosing a Franchising Industry, first get the right information

Get the information to make a list of preferred industries. You can then look for a Franchise.

The first thing to do is get information:

• Buy several franchise magazines
• Browse through the British Franchise Associations website for approved franchisors
• Go to a franchise exhibition
• Research franchising in your local library
• Meet with your Bank Advisor to calculate how much you can afford to spend, this may limit the industries you could buy within.

When you have an idea of the industry you would like to work in:

• Speak to people working within that industry
• Use the Internet to find out more information on the industry
