Deeside resides in the Welsh area of Flintshire along the Welsh-English border close to the canalised stretch of the River Dee. Deeside is known as an industrial town as it provides work for those living in North Wales, Cheshire and Merseyside with employers including Toyota!

Travelling to the Welsh capital Cardiff will take you approximately three and a half hours to reach via the A49 or between 4 to 5 hours via train. Travelling to London from Deeside will take around 4 hours via the M40 and train. As it resides on the border, the closest city to Deeside is Chester which is just over a 10 minute drive away and the closest major city is Liverpool which is just over 30 minute drive along the M53.
