Keytek® Locksmiths Training Academy are now offering our students and future Locksmiths the opportunity to gain an official Locksmith Qualification, new for 2020 and the first available in the UK! The Official Locksmith Qualification
We are so proud to reveal to you the Keytek® Academy’s brand-new Locksmith Qualification course, the only official Locksmith Qualification in the UK! Keytek® Locksmiths Training Academy are one of the first institutions to offer this course in partnership with Highfield who are a global leader in regulated apprenticeship and work-based learning qualifications. The course is a Level 3 Diploma for Commercial Locksmiths and Property Security to ensure the Academy students learn everything they need to know to become a highly-skilled Locksmith.
The Locksmith Qualification course is taught by industry professionals in the Academy’s purpose-built Locksmith Training Academy located in Poole, Dorset. It compromises of 14 separate units that encompasses everything the students need to become a successful Locksmith.
Keytek® Academy courses are limited to just three students per course to ensure each student receives plenty of 1 to 1 training, remain a safe distance from one another as well as ensuring each student has their own door and set of tools to work with at all times. Throughout the course the Academy trainer assess each student and provides them with additional help and advice where needed to ensure Keytek’s high standards are met.
The Locksmith Industry
So why is it only now, in 2020 that there is an official Locksmith Qualification I hear you ask?! Officially, Locksmiths do not need any qualifications to call themselves a Locksmith. However, Keytek® Locksmiths were required to attain a Level 4 Locksmith accreditation (previously the highest Locksmith award in the UK) before visiting you, our customers.
Times are changing in the Locksmithing industry however, which is why we are getting prepared by offering our official Locksmith Qualification course to new and existing Locksmiths to ensure they can carry on working and providing security to you, our valued customer when the time comes.
